We don’t like Cricket we love it! Often considered the “jewel in the crown” for international tours, the Caribbean offers amazing weather, iconic cricket grounds, wonderful azure seas and the best rum shop trails in the world!
To see cricket played on the hallowed turf of Bridgetown Oval or the SVR stadium, where so many incredible innings from some of the greatest cricketers in the world, is an experience never forgotten. The dream team of the 70/80’s set the benchmark, and thanks to Sir Clive Lloyd, Michael Holding, Sir Vivien Richards, Sir Gary Sobers, Sir Richie Richardson, Sir Curtly Ambrose, Bryan Lara et al has propelled West Indies to the top as a highly desirable region to visit, and of course to watch the nation’s favourite game.
Things to do....
Antigua Attractions
Sailing and water-based activities are popular on Antigua, but with its array of great beaches and selection of beautiful resorts, it’s no wonder many of our clients return year after year.
Barbados Attractions
Barbados means the ‘bearded ones‘ in Spanish which possibly refers to the fabled indigenous Arawaks, the sea splashed reefs or the long roots of the abundant bearded fig trees. Whatever its origins, Barbados today belies its name offering the visitor everything from well-groomed visitor attractions and stunning beaches to razor-sharp nightlife, cuisine and entertainment.
Jamaica Attractions
Jamaica rocks with the infectious rhythms of Bob Marley and the sublime speed of Usain Bolt. Bright sunshine, chilled beers, warm smiles, music, cricket, mountains, rivers & stunning beaches, great food and authentic jerk chicken – Jamaica has so much to offer.
St Kitts & Nevis Attractions
See the best of St Kitts and, only a short ferry ride away, its neighbouring island of Nevis. There are excellent golf and water sports on the islands, with lots to see and do. Many of our clients take a 2 centre holiday to ensure they see both islands.
Trinidad Attractions
Sweet and spicy sums up Trinidad, the home of chutney and a diverse mix of Indian, Chinese and British heritage. To get the full flavour of Trinidad, it’s best to explore the capital Port of Spain once a small seaside port, but today one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the Caribbean. There’s an abundance of historical landmarks, a wonderful choice of restaurants and great shopping opportunities.
Climate and Average Weather
Caribbean
The Caribbean has a tropical climate so you’ll find hot and sunny weather all year round. Most islands have a rainy season, usually from May to October. You’ll get higher temperatures, humidity and more rain at this time. In the drier season from November to April the islands are slightly cooler, there are lower humidity and less rain.
