Upcoming Tours – carnival cricket in Barbados & fabulous South Africa

After some fantastic recent tours of New Zealand, Australia, and Sri Lanka, preparations are now well underway for the CPL, as well as upcoming trips to Australia and South Africa.

Join the biggest party in cricket – The Caribbean Premier League

We’re excited to be heading to Barbados for the Caribbean Premier League. It’s been a while since our last visit – back at the World Cup Final in 2024 – so we thought it was time to return. Everyone who visits Barbados falls in love with its laid-back charm. You’ll have time to relax on the beautiful golden beaches, enjoy the turquoise sea, and perhaps unwind with a cocktail or a bottle of (local) Banks beer.

Of course, we’ll also be heading to the iconic Kensington Oval to experience the vibrant carnival atmosphere of Caribbean cricket.

To top it all off, we’ve included a free day, and I’m planning to take the group to Oistins. A fish market by day, it comes alive in the evening with local music and the famous fish fry. It’s a must-do experience in Barbados, with BBQs serving kingfish, mahi mahi, prawns, and lobster.

We have limited availability for CPL, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Find out more here!

Experience South Africa in style

Looking ahead to December, in partnership with our official travel partner CSA, we’ve organised a tour to South Africa featuring three Test matches, followed by three ODIs in early January.

We’ll visit some of the country’s most iconic cricket grounds, including the Wanderers, SuperSport Park, and the stunning Newlands, set against a spectacular mountain backdrop. Match tickets will be included, and we are currently working on hospitality packages.

We’ll then travel to Paarl for the first ODI—another picturesque venue located in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

This is a packed tour, including:

  • Our amazing Q&A events with special guests
  • Wine tours
  • Braais (South African BBQs)
  • Safaris (a personal favourite—each one offers a unique experience!)

We can also arrange extensions, including the Garden Route, Botswana, and Victoria Falls.

South Africa Tours go on sale on 15 April. As always, you can tailor-make your trip to suit your preferences (contact Kay or Ed) or choose from one of our set packages.

I’ll be at the Oval for most of the summer, as well as at Trent Bridge and Edgbaston (alongside Ed). We’ll have some exclusive tickets available (watch this space) so we can sit together as a group (although not in the Hollies Stand).

I’ll be in touch again soon with updates on the white-ball series in Australia.

In the meantime, I hope to see many of you over the summer. Have a fantastic time and enjoy your cricket.

All the best,

Gary
