The Lashings World XI is a cricket team captained by the former England and Surrey fast bowler Martin Bicknell.
It was formed in 1984 as a pub team but evolved into an international XI after signing Richie Richardson in 1996. Now a corporate entertainment business, Lashings play between 20 and 30 matches during the English cricket season at various grounds around England enabling them to raise much needed funds for their club. The club has fielded a host of cricketing legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Sir Viv Richards, Courtenay Walsh, Henry Olonga, Ritchie Richardson and many more.
Lashings World XI tour the UK every year with our squad of ex-international legends, providing both cricket clubs and charities an ideal opportunities to raise significant funds on the day.
All their matches are preceded on the day by a fund-raising marquee lunch, providing sponsors the ideal platform for showcasing their brand to an audience of thousands, both in the lead up to the event and live on the day. On the morning of the cricket day, they also offer a 1 hour morning coaching academy involving the whole squad.
International Cricket Tours is proud to be a sponsor and supporter of the Lashings.
