The ICT owner was among representatives of around 100 travel specialists from across the world, and 14 from the UK, invited to a glamorous event on December 7.
And she was one of just three to be picked out, with Travel Counsellor Sharon Court from Northampton winning the Minister’s Award, and Noreen Harrington from Exceptional Villas in Ireland claiming the Director’s Award.
The Sandals Grande Antigua resort played host to the gala, while the guests enjoyed a stay at The Verandah Resort & Spa and stopped in at Blue Waters Hotel and newly opened The Hut Little Jumby.
“We can’t wait to come back: it’s a shame the cricket calendar means we may have to wait a little while!”
Sara was delighted that ICT’s efforts had been recognised.
She said: “This is a special award for International Cricket Tours. We love Antigua, and we have brought many a happy tour to this magical island over recent years.
“We visited twice in 2024, for the T20 World Cup and England’s white-ball series against West Indies, and our guests always have a fantastic time.
“Antigua is a welcoming, exciting, vibrant place to visit: there’s always something happening, and you won’t meet a more friendly people anywhere in the world. We can’t wait to come back: it’s a shame the cricket calendar means we may have to wait a little while!”
