We’re delighted to announce our support for The Cricketer Magazine's Village Cup Competition; supporting junior and club level cricket is as important to us as it is to The Cricketer, who has been the driving force behind The Village Cup since 1972.

Conceived as a way of nurturing grassroots cricket, helping celebrate cricket as the heart of our local communities and don’t forget unleashing the stars of tomorrow, the Village Cup is a fiercely contested competition between village teams across the country culminating with the final two teams battling it out at Lord’s no less.

The 2018 final took place on Sunday 16th September. The Cricketer welcomed Folkton & Flixton CC and Liphook & Ripsley CC to Lord’s to battle it out for the coveted title of The Cricketer Village Cup winners, and to take home the trophy. Each year the final is open to the public with tickets available on the gate. Be sure to join us at this unique event in the Lord’s calendar.

Speaking about supporting the Village Cup

International Cricket Tours Director, Sara Malin said:

Our villages are the breeding grounds and grassroots of cricket communities, which is why we’re so pleased to be able to support the Village Cup and be able to communicate more directly with clubs from up and down the country with some great offers exclusive to them. So our affiliation with The Cricketer to offer discounted Supporters Tour for the Village Cup entrants gives us a superb opportunity to offer our award-winning tour operation to these clubs and their members who are so passionate and important to cricket.
