With a cricket club for nearly every square mile of land, it’s no surprise that this tiny island has produced an extraordinary number of world-class cricketers, and it’s this incredible heritage that makes the club and school tours to Barbados so popular.
Walking out into some of the most hallowed grounds in cricket’s history is an experience that’s hard to beat, and facing the infamous, blisteringly-paced bowlers, that seem to grow on trees here, is a sure-fire way to sharpen the skills of players, young or old.
Cricket matches happen all the time in Barbados, so there’ll always be an opportunity between your own games to catch some action elsewhere – a Test Match or One Day International at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown perhaps, a quality local league match, or even a friendly few wickets on the beach.

This tour may be hosted by Sir Gordon Greenidge or Desmond Haynes (ex-West Indies batsman).
On arrival in Barbados, you will be met by an International Cricket Tours rep who will transfer you to your selected accommodation where you will spend the next 9 nights. The transfer will take approximately 20 minutes for the South Coast or 45 minutes for the West Coast.
Evening: At your leisure to settle in and acclimatise, with a briefing from your Cricket Ambassador. You will be given a mobile phone in order to keep in touch with him regarding the matches.
Wake up for your morning training session at the Franklyn Stephenson Academy. After training, enjoy lunch and play a T20 game either between yourselves or v a local team.
Transfer to and from the center included. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Fixture 1 Vs The Lodge School (40 Overs 11am)
Fixture 2 - Vs Windward Club (45 Overs 11am)
Fixture 3 - Vs Grantley Adams School (40 Overs 11am)
Rest Day and enjoy a Catamaran Cruise round the island.
Fixture 4 Vs North Stars Club (45 Overs 11am)
Perhaps golf at Sandy Lane or lunch at the resort for non-players.
Fixture 5 - Internal game or rest day depending on how many players your team has
Afternoon Storied Cocktail Tour with transportation to Mount Gay Rum Distillery.
Arrive in London the following day for onward travel.
This is a provisional itinerary to give you ideas and may be changed accordingly, and hosting may vary dependant on who is available.
