Sir Garfield Sobers UK Presentation Tour 2020

West Indian Cricket Legend, Sir Garfield Sobers, will be personally promoting his Under 19 Schools Tournament during his visit to the UK in June 2020. This hotly contested event is held every year on the cricket loving Caribbean Island of Barbados. The tournaments for the next two years are on the:

• 06 – 20 July 2020
• 05 – 19 July 2021

International Cricket Tours would like to extend to you the opportunity for Sir Garry to drop by your school and hold a short presentation to the staff, parents and students. He will run though the highlights of the tournament programme and the undoubted longer term benefits this experience can have on personal development.

Numerous international stars have played in this tournament before reaching the highest level of the sport. They often credit their early exposure to Caribbean conditions in a competitive environment as an important and defining factor in their rise to the top of the game. Some of these players include Sir Alastair Cook, Brian Lara, Dale Benkenstein, Shiv Chanderpaul and a host of West Indies players.

Sir Garry’s proposed Itinerary for 2020 will include the following dates and regions:

• 01 – 05 June, Scotland
• 08 – 12 June, North of England
• 15 – 19 June, Midlands
• 22 – 26 June, London and South of England
