Seeing so many of you during the Summer, made for great cricket memories!

There were so many great memories of the summer
There were so many great memories of the summer – winning the World Cup, the unpredictability of the Ashes, brilliant batting, brilliant bowling and some spectacular catches. Cricket has undoubtedly been the winner!
On top of that Sara and I have travelled north and south to matches and arranged many curry nights and other post match reunions. It was great to meet so many of you from our tours from the last 5 years. I know we will see many more of you on the forthcoming winter tours following England Cricket to New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka !
In just under three weeks we fly for a three day break in San Francisco before moving onto Christchurch, New Zealand for the T20 England games and test matches. After the tour, which ends in Tauranga, I’m traveling to Melbourne for a few days R and R and to see Elton John once more before he retires ! I have a mascot called Elton who will be traveling with me this time! It’s special and means a lot to me. Whilst there I will be visiting the race track for a meeting to secure tickets for the Melbourne Cup next November. From Australia I then go on a seven day familiarisation tour of cricket grounds, hotels and restaurants in Port Elizabeth, East London and Joburg plus a safari lodge that many of you are booked in to in the Eastern Cape Then from 19 Dec I meet up with the first arrivals of the tour party. In the build up to the first test at Centurion we are taking a dawn hot air balloon flight over the Magalies River, going to Kevin Richardsons Lion reserve to present our donation and on Christmas day we are on safari! Overall I have twenty eight flights, 3 train journeys and a few days in a car for our South Island (NZ) adventure tour with some other intrepid travellers before I arrive back home late February, before flying out to Sri Lanka on the 15th of March!
We still have availability on all the tours, although you need to be quick if you fancy New Zealand!
We are also covering the Womens World Cup which Sara will be hosting this in February/March, so if your interested please get in touch. The Men’s T20 World Cup is proving to be extremely popular, it would be great if we can add that to the ODI World Cup!
All that remains from me is to say thank you to all those we met throughout the summer and I look forward to meeting old and making new friends on the forthcoming tours! All the best Gary
