Depart Cape Town for a scenic drive into the Cape Winelands, where vineyard-covered valleys and dramatic mountain backdrops create one of the country’s most celebrated landscapes. Your first stop is in the Paarl region, where you will enjoy your first wine tasting at a renowned local estate.

Continue through the picturesque winelands to the charming village of Franschhoek, meaning “French Corner”. Founded in 1688 by French Huguenot refugees, this beautiful valley is framed by the striking Franschhoek Mountains and is known for its rich wine heritage and culinary excellence. Here you will enjoy a second wine tasting before having time to stroll through the village’s quaint streets, browse its boutique shops, and enjoy lunch at one of the many inviting cafés or restaurants (lunch to own account).

The journey then continues over the scenic Helshoogte Pass towards the historic town of Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town and a heartland of the country’s wine industry. Surrounded by vineyards and Cape Dutch architecture, you will enjoy a final wine tasting at a local estate before returning to Cape Town.
