Sightseeing destinations
Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley, north of Sydney in New South Wales, is one of Australia’s major wine regions, with a viticultural history dating back to the early 1800s.
Known for varietals such as Semillon and Shiraz, it’s home to numerous wineries, including world-renowned brands and family-run boutique operations. Most are located south of the Hunter River and offer cellar door wine tastings and vineyard tours.
Coffs Harbour
Coffs Harbour is a city on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia. It’s known for its beaches and the Big Banana monument and amusement park.
In the waters off Coffs Harbour Marina is the Solitary Islands Marine Park, home to abundant wildlife, seasonal whales and coral reefs. Just east is the Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, with its large population of wedge-tailed shearwater birds and learning centre.
Byron Bay
Byron Bay is a coastal town in the southeastern Australian state of New South Wales. It’s a popular holiday destination, known for its beaches, surfing and scuba diving sites.
Cape Byron State Conservation Park is on a headland with a lighthouse. Between June and November, humpback whales can be spotted from headland viewpoints such as the Captain Cook Lookout.
Explore the region’s beaches by kayak, on horseback, by taking surf lessons, or whale watching. Get a bird’s-eye view of the mountains and coastal landscape by balloon, or cross sky-diving off your bucket list.
Shop local designers and producers at the community markets, be the first in Australia to watch the sunrise, or treat yourself to an indulgent day at the spa. Hike to the iconic lighthouse, people-watch with a cup of coffee, or discover the local art scene at one of Byron’s galleries or live music venues.

To book one of our packages we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The final balance will be due by August 29, 2025

This package includes official match tickets, international flights, accommodation during the NRMA Insurance Tests, and matchday transfers.

Depart Perth, arrive Sydney. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day at leisure for sightseeing.

Depart your hotel, travelling over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and north through Hawkesbury to Hunter Valley.

November 29
Private tour of wineries in the Hunter Valley region. Enjoy visits to three very popular local wineries for tasting and a tour. Lunch will be included at a fourth winery after a tasting and a tour.

Depart your hotel, travelling north past Newcastle and Port Macquarie to Coffs Harbour.

Depart your hotel, travelling north to Byron Bay.

Explore the Byron Bay region.

Depart your hotel, travelling north past Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast to Brisbane to begin or rejoin your Ashes tour.
