Major League Cricket will start next summer (2023) with a three-week league in the following locations Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, with the assistance of Liam Plunkett – ex-England player.
More than £100 million of funding will attract top international players including those from England. Major League Cricket (MLC) is building six cricket-specific venues to meet ICC requirements which are also expected to host some of the T20 World Cup matches in 2024.
We are already planning our ticket packages for what will prove to be on of the best tournaments in a long time with such fantastic locations. All England matches will be covered plus semi and finals.
The City of Grand Prairie Texas will use the AirHogs Stadium, redevelopment of the stadium is scheduled to take place throughout 2021/2*.
Green Park, in the city of Irvine, Orange County, Los Angeles will be the location for Southern California.
Church Street Park, is expected to be the venue for Morrisville, North Carolina .
It is understood that Raleigh, Fort Lauderdale, and Los Angeles will join the San Francisco Bay area and Dallas as posible host cities for the USA leg of the 2024 T20 World Cup which is being split between the West Indies and USA. It may also include Chicago, Indianapolis and Florida at Lauderhill.
Of the 55 matches 1/3rd will be in in USA and 2/3rds in the Caribbean in June 2024.

Major League Cricket (MLC) announced today the timeline for completion of Grand Prairie Stadium, with work underway on the first world-class cricket venue to be constructed by America’s professional T20 league. Set to open in spring 2023, the stadium in the City of Grand Prairie – located centrally in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area – will play host to MLC’s Texas franchise. The team’s identity and launch plans will be announced later this year.
Demolition and excavation work began this week at Grand Prairie Stadium, the former home of the Texas AirHogs, with a total cost of $20 million set for the current phase of renovations that will transform the venue’s baseball diamond into a cricket field with a natural grass turf wicket. The stadium’s conversion will create a fully dedicated world-class cricketing facility with an addition of seats around the oval increasing permanent capacity to over 7,000. The venue will feature 1,000 club and premium seats, with the ability to expand to a capacity of over 15,000 for major events.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. – Major League Cricket (MLC) and the County of Santa Clara announced the approval of an exclusive negotiating agreement (ENA) to move forward with lease negotiations and design approvals to develop a world class cricket stadium on a 14-acre parcel of the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds site in San José. The development would see a significant multi-million dollar investment by Major League Cricket for stadium construction, with MLC planning to work with the internationally renowned architects HKS to design a premier cricketing destination in North America.
