Clubs and School cricket tours to Barbados
Situated just East of the main Windward Island chain but very much the beating heart of the West Indies cricket scene, Barbados is an absolute must of a destination for any touring club or school team. With a cricket club for nearly every square mile of land it’s no surprise that this tiny island has produced an extraordinary number of world-class cricketers, and it’s this incredible heritage that makes club and school tours to Barbados so popular.
Walking out into some of the most hallowed grounds in cricket’s history is an experience that’s hard to beat and facing the infamous, blisteringly-paced bowlers that seem to grow on trees here is a sure-fire way to sharpen the skills of players young or old.
Cricket matches happen all the time in Barbados, so there’ll always be an opportunity between your own games to catch some action elsewhere – a Test Match or One Day International at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown perhaps, a quality local league match or a friendly few wickets on the beach.
We’ve been organising cricket tours to Barbados for players and fans for over ten years and have built great relationships with our partners on island so you can relax in the knowledge that our tours are seamless, stress-free and packed with excursions to the must see and the little known. Great accommodation options for all levels mean everyone can experience laid-back, beach-life Bajan style – check out our suggested itineraries opposite or give one of our West Indies experts a call on 020 3844 8444 to talk about your requirements.

As a team with mixed ability we flew to the island not knowing what to expect. Our airport welcome was excellent with cold towels and water. The short transfer time to our South Coast hotel was a bonus. The matches and opponents left us reeling at times but the camaraderie is not to be forgotten. The Defence Force hosted us on Remembrance Sunday and were able to march with other ex service men and women through the streets of Bridgetown – amazing. Sara’s pre trip visit to us was very worthwhile and her organisation from flight, to hotel to cricket matches to days out was just right. We had a wonderful, enlightening time and would love to again. Help for Heroes November 2014 – Jason Davey.
Having known Sara for many years I was delighted when she started International Cricket Tours. Her island knowledge and cricket connections made for a super cricket tour enjoyed by all which included well chosen grounds, wonderful days out, with quality ground handling throughout. We have toured since the early 80’s and will continue to do so – Antigua and Sri Lanka next stop. Kent 50+ Barbados November 2014 – Len Morris
We arrived back in Switzerland via London on Sunday having spent a superb three weeks in Barbados. The holiday totally exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to you and your team for helping to make this possible. Nic played cricket almost every day for the first two weeks at the Franklyn Stephenson Academy being coached by Franklyn (photo) and a couple of older and very experienced players. He loved it, got a lot out of it, worked hard training from 9am-3pm. The main organiser of our tour, Winston Carter, introduced us to Sir Gary at the Oval (photo) and invited Switzerland to play at the tournament next year! It really was a wonderful experience and you meet so many local people who are very ready to talk and take the time of day to do it, as well as just be kind and helpful. It was definitely one of the best holidays we have ever been on and once again we are most grateful to you for your excellent advice and help.
Gresham’s School (Norfolk) had an amazing week in Barbados for a pre-season Cricket tour. The organisation and administration was superb and our liaison officer was with us throughout the week to check arrangements and sorted out any small issues we had , instantly. The boys had a wonderful week, playing four matches, a catamaran cruise (Tiami) and enjoying the stunning beaches along the west coast of the Island. We are already looking forward to returning. Dealing with a small company which prides itself on detail and looking after the customer made the whole trip much easier than some of my previous sports tour handlers!
